Auxiliary members participate in the Memorial Day Parade and the Fourth of July festitivites on Memorial Drive.

Professionalism:

Although this is a volunteer fire department, the department follows formal written standard operating procedures for all of their operations and maintains high standards among all its members. Each member represents the City of Cambridge and the Fire Department and must demonstrate high moral, ethical and respectful standands in and out of uniform.

Training:

Each member receives specialized  training on the lighting plant, Incident Command and basic firefighter training that allows them to fully understand all operations on the fireground. Majority of the fire fighters are certified EMT's and one is a Paramedic.  The Training Division does provide basic hands on training at Engine 3.
